Lectures & Public Talks: The subject of a photography lecture or public talk can be academic in nature or geared toward a discussion of photographs in the marketplace. All prepared talks include a Power Point presentation and generally run 1hr to 1hr 15min plus time for question & answer session.
Portfolio Reviews for Fine Art Photographers: For photographers who are preparing for their first portfolio review conference or editing their portfolio and collateral for approaching a gallery or institution, Ms. Stoots is available for one-on-one consultation.

Jennifer L. Stoots is a fine art appraiser, Certified in Photography with the Appraisers Association of America. Ms. Stoots has worked in the museum and gallery industry since 1995 and in the photography marketplace since 1998. In addition to her appraisal work, she gives lectures about collectible photography and photography’s history, has curated several photography exhibits for commercial galleries and has been a regular portfolio reviewer for organizations like Photolucida and ASMP NY. Stoots is also the U.S. liaison for the East Wing photography gallery in Doha, Qatar.
Jennifer received her Master’s degree in the History of Art and Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY (2013) and her Bachelor’s in Art History from the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR (1994). Her appraising credentials were acquired from the New York University Appraisal Studies Program for Fine and Decorative Arts in 2002 and she is qualified to do IRS appraisals under the guidelines of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice examination (certificated in New York, NY: July 2002; Seattle, WA: June 2008; New York: March 2013).
